Musical Improv Track
The Musical improv track at Houston School of Improv celebrates the harmonious relationship see what we did there? between music and comedy. Students begin by learning how to comfortably improvise songs and song structures before moving on to more advanced techniques. Come make some friends and sing some songs in a fun and supportive environment with a musical improv class.
Musical Improv: Level One
NEXT CLASS STARTS:
Musical Improv: Level One class is a 4-week class with a showcase! This class will explore the foundations of creating music on the spot, basic improvised musical song structure, & performing game-based musical improv.
Note: This class will not provide instruction on how to sing, but rather the art of creating improvised music. Familiarity with singing is recommended.
Prerequisites: It is also recommended to have improv experience through Houston School of Improv Core Level 2.
Students are required to see at least ONE ITM show before Week 4. Admission is free and will be noted at the Box Office.

Improv! The Musical
You, the audience, suggest the title of a musical that has never been seen before and the improvisors create that show right before your eyes. Accompanied by the "Yes, Band," the improvised musical team will present the opening (and closing) night performance of a show that is sure to be hilarious and unforgettable.
